Really cool concept! Kept me hooked enough to play the full demo, which is fairly impressive I'd say given how repetitive the gameplay loop is. I like that it's possible to strategize effectively enough to get both stats up high and keep them there if you make the right choices. Just a couple small issues. Well, a few.

One: I kept raising taxes on the peasants, and it never really had any negative consequences? I think I did that 6 or 7 times and every time it increased my favorability with the party and increased the budget, and it barely made the public health go down at all. I was a bit surprised by that; surely the more times the taxes increase the more it will burden the public? I dunno.

Two: The Jack the Ripper plot did not go anywhere. That was not well-executed in my opinion. There should've been more done with him, like seeing him creep around at night in the main part of town, or having him get angry if you refuse his offer too many times.

Three: Some of the questions and proposals were a bit confusing and ended up doing the opposite of what I expected. One example that stood out to me was when the mother with the kids asked if I'd help her with treatments for the disease, which seemed benign enough, but when I accepted it caused the health of the public to go down for some reason. That didn't really make sense.

Four: There are a LOT of typos and misspellings in this game, like "maybe" being spelled as "mabye", and so on. I think I saw at least 10 misspellings. Get that fixed and it'll make the game feel much more polished.

Thanks for the feedback! You're right, some things do need rebalancing to become more impactful. Dialogue and the consequences will be having a rework before the full release

Street events (Such as seeing Jack) will also be added for the full release, It's a lot of work but will definitely be worth it!

All the dialogue has been spell checked prior to the demo release. This could be down to a new update with the dialogue system and might be a bug when it's typing the words out. Thanks for pointing it out!

[The Ghost of the Witch: An Ear-ie Halloween Headphone Adventure]

This was pretty fun! I am glad I decided to draw out the layout on paper, it helped me visualize things a lot better. Maybe would've preferred a bit more of a visual aspect to it, and a more satisfying ending, but it wasn't bad.

Hey! Using the pen and paper, that's the way to do it. Glad you liked it overall! Yeah, it's kinda weird not having a visual component, but that's part of the fun. I have some visual ideas for QOL tho. :D

[Ruins of Paradise]

I really really like this! Got stuck at one point then was able to do some trial and error to figure out what I had to do next. Other than that, navigating and exploring this world you created is fun and engaging, and the game is just the right length/difficulty.

I played this in class with the sound off so I missed basically all of the atmosphere but the overall gameplay loop is fun... for the most part. Because HOW do I REACH the dirt on the side of the bathtub?!?!?

[Spooky Season]

This is such a perfect, cute little game! All the puzzles are fun and intuitive, navigation is easy, and the characters are all super endearing! I just wish this game could be expanded so I could spend more time in this little world! Will there be a sequel?!

There will absolutely be a sequel! This was a fun little project to gage my skills as a game dev, and I'm already thinking up new features for a sequel! Keep an eye out next October!

Good but the controls need some work and I encountered a similar bug with the seventh level where the screen went black. Really like the animations and overall vibe tho
