I hate to sound like a hater but this is just not a well-designed game. Most of the solutions are completely unintuitive, and the solutions that would be intuitive don't even occur to the main character even if the player thinks of them, apparently. Like tying the rope to the magnet and using that to recover the key, or moving the lamp and plugging it in to the extension cord so that it can be put in the basement. Also, if being in the basement with the fuse plugged in killed the zombie, how come the player can do it just fine later on? Lots of things here just do not make sense. It should not have taken me 32 minutes to beat this game.
